| Description | : | Dedicated on Saturday, August 15, 2009, this two acre cemetery was donated by the Anders family directly across from the Anders family ranch on Anders Avenue in Pleasant Valley. The first three burials in the cemetery are the original owners of the land, Lee and Joyce Anders, and their son, Kenneth. The Anders were one of the first settlers and homesteaders in Pleasant Valley, about 25 miles east of Fairbanks on Chena Hot Springs Road, creating the community of Pleasant Valley in 1959. Lee's son, Ed Anders, donated the two acres for the cemetery. |
