Description	:	This was the cemetery that served the Posey County Poor Asylum Infirmary which stood on Brittle Bank Road in Mount Vernon, IN. It was located behind the building. While no trace of this cemetery remains at the site, interment records still exist. It is not known at this point (at least not by me) whether, or where the cemetery was moved when the Poor Asylum was torn down, though it is possible some may have been moved to the potters field at another cemetery in the area.
