This cemetery is located in what was formerly known as Stolzenberg an adjacent suburb of Danzig, West Prussia that was active in the mid 1800s. In Polish it is the Parafia rzymskokatolicka Podwyzszebua Krztza In English it is the Roman Catholic Parish of Raising Cross. Catholic records for King Chapel in Danzig referred to this burial place just as Stolzenberg. This is the only Catholic cemetery in Chelm (Stolzenberg) that was active in 1he 1800s. Note, there is a very close Catholic cemetery call the New Catholic cemetery. It has no signage and also appears to be closed. Several attempts on Polish websites to find more specific info were unproductive. This cemetery can be found on maps.google. The GPS Coordinates come from maps.google.
