This cemetery is approx. 700 metres north of the main Redford Cemetery, and is located on The Grove, a road off the main Rathdown Road.
It is principally, but not exclusively, for the use of the members of the Church of Ireland [Anglican] community. Methodists, Presbyterians and other dissenting creeds use this cemetery also.
All those of other religious denominations, and of none, use the main Redford Cemetery
The practice of the local stonemasons noting the dates of birth and death on almost all headstones is relatively unique in Ireland, and makes subsequent genealogical tracing much easier than elsewhere.
