Description	:	Andrew Heizer Richardson and his wife Elizabeth McCoy/McKoy/McKay) are buried in a family burial ground known as the "Richardson Cemetery" and also called "Shady Grove Cemetery," near their homeplace at the head of Batchelor's Creek in Craven County. Several generations of this family were buried at the cemetery. Cemetery location (directions in 1990s): Three miles west of the intersection of Old Hwy. 70 and Hwy. 55, on Highway 55 West. Several generations of this family were buried at the cemetery. Cemetery location (directions in 1990s): Three miles west of the intersection of Old Hwy. 70 and Hwy. 55, on Highway 55 West. Turn North on dirt drive by Harvey Heath's farm and follow road one mile back into the field. Cemetery is located about 350 yards across the field and within 10 feet of the wooded area. There are between 30 and 50 unmarked graves in this cemetery, and 40 years ago contained some 20 or so slab markers which could not be located.
