Description	:	Located partly under a house, off the Washington township blacktop on F25. The story goes that a man received a court order to build a house adjacent to the cemetery, he then decided to add on to the south and in doing so he dug up some bones. This was the north edge of the cemetery. He removed all the stones and the curator took some of them to the Dallas County Museum at Perry. The house is actually in the cemetery. The story goes that a man received a court order to build a house adjacent to the cemetery, he then decided to add on to the south and in doing so he dug up some bones. This was the north edge of the cemetery. He removed all the stones and the curator took some of them to the Dallas County Museum at Perry. The house is actually in the cemetery. The cemetery was started in the days of the gold rush, a wagon crossing the river got into trouble and all but the father drowned. He buried his family on top of the hill on land that was Roush property. Most of the stones were Jordon's and Liggett's. provided by Velma Renfrow
