Description : An African American cemetery listed in "Talladega County, Alabama Tombstone Inscriptions of All Known Cemeteries 1700's to 1987", Vol. II, c. 1990 by Joseph W. & Frances S. Upchurch. It was said to also be known as "Embry Memorial Gardens Cemetery". The cemetery is off County Road #363 (Spring Hill Road), a half-mile south of Rushing Springs Baptist Church, with interments dating from 1903 to the present day. Deacons of the church, whose congregation was organized in 1908, are listed on the cemetery entrance sign as the approving authorities for burial plots.
