Description : The land for this cemetery and church was donated by Daniel and his wife, Catherine (Emerick) Otto, from part of their farm known as "Peace and Plenty" in 1835. This cemetery was known as "Otto's Cemetery" for many years. The first known burial is George Otto, father of Daniel, who died in 1813. A 1953 newspaper article with a photo shows a large evergreen tree once grew in the middle of the cemetery.
