| Description | : | This cemetery can be found just down the road from Ottawa House historic site in Parrsboro. All that stands of this Cemetery is a Cairn Erected in the 1960's and one stone. I have found out about this cemetery that Parrsboro's first merchant was James Noble Shannon and one of the first permanent residents of Partridge Island. He is buried in this cemetery which is over 200 years old and contains graves of early settlers. I have also read that plans may be in the works to fix it up. |
