Description	:	This is a white cemetery, no longer active, on private land in the vicinity of Hardaway. From Quincy, go west on U.S. Hwy 90 to Gretna. At the caution light in Gretna, turn left on Hwy. 268 (Hardaway Road). Continue past a 90 degree right turn and a 90 degree left turn, pass Faircloth Road on your right, and continue another mile or so until you see McMillian Road on the right. Read More	This is a white cemetery, no longer active, on private land in the vicinity of Hardaway. From Quincy, go west on U.S. Hwy 90 to Gretna. At the caution light in Gretna, turn left on Hwy. 268 (Hardaway Road). Continue past a 90 degree right turn and a 90 degree left turn, pass Faircloth Road on your right, and continue another mile or so until you see McMillian Road on the right. Turn left across from McMillian Road into the drive beside mailbox number 2980. A little way down the drive, you'll see the cemetery at the edge of the tree line on the right. On the Mormon Tomb Index, this is called the New McMillan Cemetery, but on some maps it is called Shepard Cemetery. The military tombstone of Archibald McMillan was shipped to his father for burial at "New Center Cemetery", Mt. Pleasant. Apparently it has changed names over the years. The Mormon Tomb Index also has 9 Ferrell family members, Henry and Mary Tolar, a Stokes infant, Farrell Pauline McPhaul, and L. C. McCowan as being buried in this cemetery. All death dates were early 1900s but one was as late as 1956. It's hard to image that many graves were marked in 1957 so the Mormons could survey it, but the markers are gone now. I think the Mormon Tomb Index has the Ferrells in the wrong cemetery. I won't add those other people unless someone verifies they know a person to be buried here.
