Description	:	A primitive Methodist church was built on this location around 1840 as part of the community of Tormore. The first burial was recorded in 1848; the last in 1905. The congregation amalgamated with Coleraine and Zoar in 1902 and built Central Methodist Church on the southwest corner of Countryside Drive and Highway 50. It closed in 1977. Its cornerstone forms part of this cairn, erected in 1994, by Central United Trust Fund in memory of the pioneers of this area.
