Description	:	The town of Sidney was platted in 1890; the cemetery dedicated in 1891. Sidney became Port Orchard in 1903. Little information exists on this cemetery, but it appears it was seldom used and received no regular maintenance. Some of the burials here were moved out in later years. In 2000, an attempt to reclassify the property as residential so it could be developed met with resistance from locals and descendants of those interred here.
