Description : Sisson Cemetery (at approximately 0.2 miles south on Claridon-Troy Road in Hambden Township, Ohio) is an inactive cemetery. This was the first burial ground in Hambden. In 1925, fourteen tombstones were removed and stored at the mausoleum in the Township Cemetery. It was thought that there had been 41 burials, but research proved that only 16 were actually moved. An obelisk was erected in 1973, and engraved with the names of those who could be identified.
