Description	:	This as a small African-American family Cemetery. There are 13 graves, with the oldest burial daring back to 1914 and most recent burial in 2008. There is a tiny church next to the cemetery with a sign that reads: "CHURCH DOOR CLOSE(D) DUE TO RAPTURE. SINNERS YOU'RE TO LATE" The white gravestones next to the church may look like props to go along with the church, but they are real graves! SINNERS YOU'RE TO LATE" The white gravestones next to the church may look like props to go along with the church, but they are real graves! Some are old stone vaults in the ground with the names and dates of the deceased and the newer Gravestones were cast in cement and hand-carved. They have been painted white to standout better and match the church. The family tree of the people buried here lead down to the descendant who owns the cemetery, the land, the house next to it, and built the tiny church that now stands beside the family cemetery. The tiny church next to the Smith Family Cemetery stands about 10 feet tall and was built by Council Smith in his family’s cemetery. Council had built a home for him and his wife (next to the cemetery in the cotton field). After he had built their house, he had material left over and decided to build a church at the family cemetery. Council Smith is a Deacon at his church. He decided to use the miniature church and the sign to preach the gospel to others. Council Smith's father (also Council Smith who passed away in 2008), his grandmother (Minnie Watson Smith) and several of his aunts and uncles are buried there. He, his wife, and children plan to be buried here also.
