Description : Freed men who settled here after the Civil War built this church in the late 1860s. It is the oldest African-American Church in the Upstate. There are only 14 members left in the congregation so they have a fish fry on the second saturday every month to raise funds to keep this historic church alive. The old cemetery in the woods was just uncovered in 2009.
