Spangler, in his book The Annals of the Families of Caspar, Henry, Baltzer, and George Spengler, stated that by 1896 none of the cemetery remained. It was encroached upon by farmers and eventually destroyed. Human remains were uncovered at 15 North Harlan Street in 1927 while constructing a house on the site.
