Description	:	St Paul's Anglican Churchyard, Tokaanu, is located on the corner of Atutahi Street and Tawera Street in Tokaanu, New Zealand. The church is dedicated to the memory of pioneer missionary Thomas Grace and his wife Agnes. The churchyard contains memorials of two Maori missionaries who were sent by Rev Richard Taylor of Wanganui to convert Tuwharetoa and who were killed near Tokaanu in 1847. They were reinterred after excavations for a power site. The cemetery was transcribed on the 27th of January 1979 by the Springer family of Bulls during the course of a visit to this church by the Whanganui Historical Society. Earliest...
