Description	:	The original cemetery was one-half acre deeded by Joseph S. and Catherine Staley on December 6, 1876. Additional land to the West was deeded by Madison and Lois L. Staley November 10 1893. An all weather lane leads from the public road to the cemetery, which is located on a high mound overlooking the Big Creek Valley. The Cemetery is maintained by the Cemetery Association formed in 1983, with an endowment fund established. The Cemetery was indexed in 1967 and updated in 1983. The Cemetery is maintained by the Cemetery Association formed in 1983, with an endowment fund established. The Cemetery was indexed in 1967 and updated in 1983. All the indexed markers have been entered into this database. A few markers and several footstones were located "over" the north fence. The plat shows that the north line of the cemetery appears to be one grave site row north of the present fence.
