Description	:	Unless you were looking for it, you would not know it was there. It is located on timber company property, which in turn, has been leased to a hunting club. The roads are unimproved, dirt logging roads. There is a gate, that may or may not be closed and locked at any given time. A sign on the gate has numbers to call to have gate unlocked. Read More	Unless you were looking for it, you would not know it was there. It is located on timber company property, which in turn, has been leased to a hunting club. The roads are unimproved, dirt logging roads. There is a gate, that may or may not be closed and locked at any given time. A sign on the gate has numbers to call to have gate unlocked. The road is located on the north side of Hwy. 12 between the Asbury Plant (Old Boise Southern Plywood Mill) and Lucas. About a mile down this road, you take a right onto another logging road called Mule Pond Road. Go about another mile. The cemetery is located approximately one quarter mile into the woods on the south side of the road. There are no markings or signs of any kind to show you the way. Mr. James Albert Johnson installed stainless steel tags on the graves which could still be identified. I have been told that 21 people were buried in the cemetery. There was a fence surrounding the cemetery at one time, but it has been destroyed. Only 7 graves could be identified by Mr. Johnson. The cemetery is located on what was once the homeplace of Frank and Martha (Mock) Hoosier Stanley. They homesteaded 30 acres in the 1880's.. Frank died and Martha tried to keep things going on the homestead. Martha died in 1919. Records indicate she was buried in Stanley Cemetery, but no grave marker is identifiable for her. I would also assume Frank was buried here too, but there is no marker for him either. Sometime after her death, the home is abandoned. Time has erased all evidence, that a home was once here. The first burial was in 1905. The last burial was in 1925.
