Description : Stimson Cemetery no longer exists. According to Collin County Records, ONLY THE HEADSTONES were moved in the mid-1980's and the cemetery plowed under. The stones are now located in Abston Cemetery in Mallard Park (Lavon,Tx.) on the east shore of Lake Lavon. Some people say the bodies were never moved and the will of Mr. Stimpson for this to always remain a cemetery was ignored and the cemetery was "moved?" without all the family's knowledge.
