Description	:	The Stokes Family Graveyard (aka Old Redwine Graveyard or Riverbank Cemetery) is located on the west bank of the Yadkin River. It is located on private property of William Stokes (at one time, not sure who owns property topday). It was inventoried by WPA in 1937. See map attached, as well as observations from Martha Redwine Nelson, who visited in 1985. The cemetery cannot be accessed by road; it requires a hiking through a forest several miles. See map attached, as well as observations from Martha Redwine Nelson, who visited in 1985. The cemetery cannot be accessed by road; it requires a hiking through a forest several miles. I listed the city as Reedy Creek (the program forces you to include a city), but this may not be true....all records and Martha's notes simply say Rowan County (later became Davidson County). Many of the markers were missing , broken, and very difficult to read. To my knowledge there are no photographs.
