Thomasville,Missouri was the first county seat of Oregon County,Missouri and was a recruitment location,had a hospital and cemetery. Source #1, Carl Williams,July 21,2015. A grave marker was found on the Dick Boyd farm in Middle Fork Creek near the marked location by Carl Williams in the 1940's,it is believed there were several graves there and that the markers were dozed into the creek. Eleven Points Mill is believed to have been about one half mile up Middle Fork from the mouth of Eleven Point River.
