Description	:	This was an early Quaker meeting house and burial ground. It was active from about 1752 until 1837. Today, there is no evidence that the meeting house or graveyard existed. At some point local residents made an effort to move gravestones from the Tuckahoe Friends Meeting House Burying Ground to the burying ground at the Third Haven Meeting House in Easton, MD. However, because Quakers eschewed the use of gravestones until the late 18th century, the only records in existence about the early Tuckahoe burials reside in the Third Haven Meeting House burial records, which say "Tuckahoe,...
