Description	:	Small family cemetery established by the Velsor / Van Velsor family during the later part of the 18th century. The maternal grandparents of the American poet Walt Whitman are buried here. He visited and wrote about this cemetery in an essay for "Specimen Days." Many of the stones were standing as late s the 1960s, but the cemetery has been vandalized in more recent years. This cemetery is located off Stillwell Lane on the west side of Woodbury Road.
