Description : The Vincent Cemetery was first used in 1838; the earliest burial was William S. Vincent, son of John and Mary (White) Vincent. This grave has since been moved from its original location. Several of the family's slaves were buried here. A 1939 listing of the cemetery records it as being "in use" with approximately 50 to 75 graves spanning an acre of ground. The cemetery was annually cleaned by African American descendants.
