Description : This is an old burying ground located on the White's Institute and Residential Services grounds. Up until 1895, White's was known as White's Indian Manual School, operated by the Society of Friends. There are records for eleven burials from 1885 to 1917. Some of the children who died while in residence at the Indian Manual School were buried at Friends Cemetery in Noble Township. --SixDogTeam it was formed in 1853 as a Quaker missionary school for Indians, a charity school operated by the Society of Friends.
