Description : The Wright Square Burial Ground was the first cemetery for the residents of Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia dating back to the late 1700’s and early 1800’s. As the city of Brunswick grew and a new cemetery opened a few blocks to the northeast, the Wright Square Burial Ground was lost to development. Homes, streets, and a school were built on top of the abandoned and forgotten cemetery.
