Description	:	Located at 150 Yadkin Baptist Church Road, Salisbury, NC 28144, in Rowan County. In late March of 1947, a group of Christian believers from the surrounding community met for the purpose of organizing a Baptist church in the Yadkin area. On April 24, 1947, with Rev. C. V. Talbert presiding, the Church was organized and called into its first official conference with thirty-five charter members. In late 1959, the Church received two acres of property behind the Church as a gift from Phillip and Evelyn Sowers . The Church voted in January 1960 to use the land for a cemetery.
