He had lived with his parents in the Rochester community since 1920. He attended the schools of his home community. Aaron had been employed the last few weeks near Vinton, Iowa. Read More	Tipton Advertiser 12 June 1941 pg 4 Aaron Berdet Conley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Conley, was born Sept. 15th, 1918, at New Liberty, Ia. He had lived with his parents in the Rochester community since 1920. He attended the schools of his home community. Aaron had been employed the last few weeks near Vinton, Iowa. He passed away Wednesday, May 28th, 1941, at the age of 22 years, while swimming in the Cedar river near Vinton with three companions. He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, a sister, Blanche of Chicago, his grandparents, a number of aunts, uncles and cousins and a large circle of friends. Aaron was loved by all who knew him. He was always happy and cheerful and ready to offer a helping hand when called upon. The Rochester church and community wishes to extend their heartfelt sympathy to those who mourn. Final rites were held in the Rochester church Friday, May 30th, 1941, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Harold Loerch, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment in the Rochester cemetery. Pallbearers were Arnold Hennings, Elmer Hennings, Raymond Howe, Leon Conway, Merle Highly, and Keith McQuillen. Mrs. Wm. Sinkler and Mrs. Alvin Christiansen, sang three beautiful numbers. "Fade, Fade Eternal Joy," "With My Saviour Through the Shadow," and "Sometime We'll Understand," accompanied by Miss Joyce Linn at the piano. CARD OF THANKS We wish to express our sincere and grateful thanks to all friends and neighbors for their acts of sympathy and kindness in our bereavement/ Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Conley and Blanche.
