Description : Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Aaron Anderson came to Nebraska in 1867. He homesteaded the west half of the southwest quarter of section twelve in Precinct F. He married Susan McPheely on March 8, 1871 and to the couple were born four children: Thomas E., Annie (died 1877), Eva (died 1888) and Arthur. In 1887, he moved to Arapahoe County, Colorado to try homesteading there but returned to Seward County two years later.
