Description	:	Falmouth Enterprise, Saturday, November 21, 1903, page 3 OBITUARY The funeral of Miss Abbie Moore was held from the Friends' meeting-house, Sunday, November 15, and was attended by a large number of friends and relatives. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The burial which took place immediately after the service, was in the family plot in Friends' cemetery. Miss Abbie was the youngest of a family of twelve children. She is survived by one brother, Samuel Moore, and five sisters; Mrs. Macey, Mrs. Willets, Mrs. Bowerman, Miss Moore and Mrs. Benson. Until within about two years Miss Abbie had been in the enjoyment of usual health, since then she has been gradually failing, though still attending to business. About six months ago she returned home and spent the greater part of the summer at the homestead. In the early fall she went to the city to be near her sisters and further try what skilled physicians and careful nursing could do for her. At one time her friends: were much encouraged, but her symptoms soon assumed an alarming form and upon the 12th inst. proved fatal. Many will miss the sweet smile and the cheerful, uncomplaining voice. None could look upon that face, so beautiful even in death, and not but feel that "our loss is her eternal gain."
