| Description | : | Abigail Halasey was the first child born in America to John Sr. and Johanna (nee Brennan) Halasey. She was later admitted to the St. Joseph State Hospital #2 approximately in 1883 (Insane Asylum) and had basically never left the institution until her death on October 31, 1938. She NEVER MARRIED. NOTE: Her brother, John Halasey Jr., was born in the Rochester/Pittsford area of Monroe County, New York in either September or October of 1856.
