Description	:	I am trying to verify Abigail's information. I do not find her in a census as a daughter of John and Polly Hall. In looking at several family trees on Ancestry.com (accuracy not guaranteed), some list Cynthia as the first child of John and Polly. Cynthia appears in the 1850 U.S. Federal Census as 11 years old (no older siblings) with younger siblings: Enoch, John E, Dyre, Giles and Hollis. Generally, in those days, a child was born within the year of a couple's marriage. If John and Mary were married in 1831, it is not likely that the first child would have been Cynthia, born in 1838. Therefore, using the weblink below and common reasoning, I am including Abigail as a daughter of John Scott Hall and Mary "Polly" Wait. Can anyone help?
