Description	:	Funeral services were held in Klawitter chapel here Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Addie Vore, 99, who died early Sunday afternoon. Addie Latimer was born June 5, 1857 in Shelby county (sic), Missouri, and departed this life at Nelson, Nebr., Dec. 23, 1956 at the age of 99 years, 6 months and 18 days. She was the second of five children, all of whom have preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to James G. Sims Dec. 21, 1876. Addie Latimer was born June 5, 1857 in Shelby county (sic), Missouri, and departed this life at Nelson, Nebr., Dec. 23, 1956 at the age of 99 years, 6 months and 18 days. She was the second of five children, all of whom have preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to James G. Sims Dec. 21, 1876. To this union was born two daughters, Edna Francis Redd, now deceased, and Adah Elizabeth Stowers, of Nelson, with whom she had made her home the past several years. She and her husband came to Nebraska in 1881, and farmed near Nebraska City until 1886 when they moved to Nuckolls county (sic). Here they farmed until 1911 when they moved to Nelson. Mr. Sims passed away Jan. 20, 1912. She was a member of the Methodist church (sic) and always maintained an active interest in the church. She was united in marriage to Henry Vore Thanksgiving Day, 1918. He passed away Jan. 19, 1925. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Adah Stowers; two grandchildren, Mrs. Jesse Hamel of Nora, and Virgil Stowers of Nelson; other relatives, and a host of friends. All her lifetime she was a friend of young and old, and was ever concerned with their welfare. The Reverend V.R. Daniels of Paxton officiated at the last rites, assisted by the Reverend Mr. Lincoln B. Justice. Burial was made in the Nelson cemetery (sic). Pallbearers were Chester Shipman, James Keith, Henry Hite, Russell Reeve, Vic Crandell and Irvin McCutchan. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, December 27, 1956
