Fletcher, wife of Capt. B. T. Fletcher, died yesterday morning at 8:15 o'clock, after only a few hours illness. Mrs. Fletcher before her marriage was Miss Ada Fowler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fowler of this county. She was married to Captain Fletcher five years ago, and at the time of her death was 22 years of age. Mrs. Fletcher was a Christian woman, devoted wife and mother and a kind neighbor. She is survived by her husband and two little girls, ages four years and one year, and an infant son, her father and mother and 11 brothers and sisters. She was buried this morning at Grace's Chapel, services conducted by Dr. J. H. Weaver. Charlotte Observer Charlotte, NC Tuesday, October 8, 1912 Page 2 ---------- Death of Mrs. B. T. Fletcher. Mrs. Ada Fletcher, wife of Mr. B. T. Fletcher, died suddenly Sunday morning, October 6th. Three little children are left motherless, one of them an infant whose birth marked the passing of the young mother. Besides these she is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Fowler, Jr., and several brothers and sisters. The remains were interred on Monday morning at Grace Chapel, of which she was a member, funeral services being held by Dr. Weaver. The deceased was only twenty-three years old and her untimely death was very sad indeed. Five years ago she was married to Mr. Fletcher and since that time they have lived in Monroe.
