Read More	Ada L. Colborne May 31, 1947 - September 14, 2013 Colborne, Ada L. - 66, Collingwood passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital, Moncton. Born in Pugwash, she was a daughter of Edith (Thompson) Mooring and the late John Mooring. Ada was a past adherent of this obituary the Collingwood United Church and was a former member of its UCW. She worked at various businesses in the Oxford area over the years and is most remembered from her time at the former Oxford Deli Take-Out. She later worked at the local bakery and also the Irving Mainway. Ada's family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, were the shining light in her life and she was a much loved Mother and Nannie. She is survived by her, mother Edith Mooring, Amherst; companion, Paul Rogers; sons, Chris (Kim) Colborne, Enfield; Randy (Carrie) Colborne, Niagara Falls, ON; special nephews, Trevor and Sean Colbourne; sisters, Elsie (Norman) Stevens, Wolfville; Delores Royer (Cor Kuzee), St. Catherines, ON; Ethel (Ronald) Thomas, Grand Cache, AB; Lorna (Bruce) Stewart, Millvale; brother-in-law, Doug Gogan, Thomson; grandchildren, Carson (Jenn), Brandon, Justin, Jordyn, Reegan, Tayler, and Megyn; great-granddaughter, Haleigh Rae; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Colin Colborne and sister Alma Gogan. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, September 18 in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (447-2930). Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 19, in Collingwood United Church. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to Collingwood-Wyvern Cemetery.
