She had been at Gillespie Rest Home in Clarinda for the past six months and at the hopsital for only two hours. Funeral services for Mrs Beck were held April 7 at Walker Funeral Home with Loren Daly officiating. Burial was at the Siam Cemetery. She had been employed at the Glenwood hospital and worked as telephone operator at Siam. A memorial fund was established for planting trees in the Gravity city park.
