Description	:	Adam Fowler, of North Monroe township, died in the Ellen Fitzgerald hospital Tuesday afternoon about 5:30 o'clock of appendicitis. He was taken violently ill Sunday at the home in Benton Heights of his son-in-law, Byron Tucker, and was carried to the hospital for an operation, but it was too late, gangrene having already set in. Mr. Fowler as 69 years of age. He was one of the county's best farmers. Williams, of Concord, Mrs. M. L. Williams, of Rockingham, Mrs. Byron Tucker, of Benton Heights, and Mrs. Gus Benton, of Benton Heights. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. K. B. Hogan and Rev. J. R.
