Description	:	Adam Hill was born near Osgood, Ohio, Nov. 2, 1862, and fell asleep in Christ Oct. 15, 1916, aged 53 years, 11 months and 13 days. On April 6, 1886, he was married to Miss Margaret Winger. To this union two sons were born, Early and Harrison. The former lived only a few days. Jun 13, 1893, Mr. Hill married Mary C. Staudt to which union three daughters were born, namely: Mrs. Ethel Fisher of near Yorkshire, Eva and Dessa at home. Their are slso two grandchildren, Margie and Paul Fisher. The deceased also has two brothers but their whereabouts are unknown. The deceased united with the Disciple church in Osgood, Ohio, in 1883, under the ministration of Elder Ashbury, who baptized him the same year. When the Disciple church was built at Yorkshire Mr. Hill with others became a part of the new membership. In 1900, being a resident of OSgood he removed his church affiliation by letter from the Disciple church at Yorkshire to the Christian church at Osgood, Ohio, where he held his membership unto death. Mr. Hill has always been a consistent christian, delighting in the words of the Master, and was especially fond of friendly discussion on scriptural subjects for the sake of enlightenment. As a man he was upright and honorable in all his dealings. His constant measure of a deed was, "Am I willing that he should do thus unto me." He was a kind and faithful husband, and as a father he had the good of his children constantly at heart. As a friend he was faithful to death, and as a neighbor kind and obliging to all. Funeral sercvies were held from the Christian church, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Baker, the pastor, officiating. Interment in Green Lawn Cemetery.
