Description	:	Adam Kinzer Guthrie, son of Aaron and Rebecca Guthrie, was born March 18, 1850 in Adams county, Ohio and died in McCallsburg, Iowa August 8, 1917, aged 67 years, 4 months and 21 days. He was united in marriage to Lovina Dakins in 1885, to which union seven children were born, one of whom preceded him to the better land. In young manhood he made a profession of religion and united with the Dunkard church. In 1907 he united with the Presbyterian church at this place, was elected an elder and filled this office until his death. The funeral was held in the Presbyterian church here last Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev Shirk, pastor in charge, after which the remains were laid to rest in the family lot in the Zearing cemetery.
