Description	:	Born about 1784. According to 1883 History of Fairfield and Perry Counties, Adam Minehart moved from Pennsylvania to Ohio in 1802, at age 18. He bought 80 acres of wooded land in Fairfield County, and cleared it for use as a farm. He also taught in both the German and English branches of area schools, and was proficient in both languages. Adam married Julia Ann (unable to determine maiden name) in 1816, and the two raised seven children together. They eventually sold the farm and moved in with their son, Absalom Minehart, where they lived until their death.	Born about 1784.
