Description	:	OBITUARY : ADAM TRESSLER died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Angeline Weteil, at the Union school house, Hamiltonban township, March 13. He had been unwell during the entire winter. Mr. Tressler was born near Friend's Creek and lived there nearly all his life until the last several years, since then his home was with the above named daughter. His wife died over three years ago. He was considered by every person who knew him to be an upright man, ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Mr. Tressler is survived by one brother, Jacob Tressler, who resides at Fountain Dale, and the following children: Jerome Tressler, married to Manzella Wurtenbaker, living in Waynesboro; Isaac N. Tressler, married to Anna Miller, living at Fort Lee, Va.; Joseph B. Tressler, married to Jane Shriner, deceased, living at Charmian, Franklin county; James Tressler, married to Anna Shriner, living near Orrtanna; John L. Tressler, married and living in Arkansas; Clayton Tressler, married, and living at Greely, Colo. Also survived by one daughter, Angeline Tressler, married to John Weteil. Funeral services were held at Friends' Creek, known as the Church of God, to which he belonged his entire life, leading an exempiary, christian life, on Wednesday, the 15th of March, conducted by Rev. Thorp of the Church of God, assisted by Rev. Samuel Pittinger of the M.E. Church, after which his remains were intered in the Friends' Creek cemetery. The pall bearers were his following grandsons: Milton Weteil, Charles Weteil, Samuel Weteil, and the following neighbor, Wm. Donaldson. Deceased was aged 82 years and 15 days.
