Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The body is resting at the family home until the time of the rites, having been returned there from the Dietrich Funeral Home Sunday morning. Mrs Schechinger, who was 42 years old, died at 11:30 Saturday morning after a serious illness of six weeks. She had been cared for at the St Anthony Hospital for two weeks, having been brought back home four weeks ago. A lifelong resident of Carroll County, Mrs Schechinger was born Adelaide Mary Kasperbauer, daughter of Mr and Mrs Sebastian Kasperbauer, at Templeton Dec 23, 1897. When she was a small girl the family moved to Roselle. She received her education at Sacred Heart School, Templeton. Nov 28, 1917, she married Henry Schechinger, the ceremony taking place at Holy Angels Church, Roselle. Mr and Mrs Schechinger established there home on the farm at the southwest edge of Carroll, which has been the family home since that time. Mrs Schechinger leaves her husband and seven children, Hildegarde, Leonard, Helen, Betty, Joan, Marian, and Paul, the youngest of whom is five years old. She is also survived by an only brother, Otto Kasperbauer of Carroll. Her father died in 1912 and her mother, in 1921. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Billy, who died at the age of seven years, and Stanley, at birth. Mrs Schechinger was a member of SS Peter and Paul's Church and the Christian Mothers Society of the parish. She also belonged to the Carroll County Rural Women's Chorus.
