Description	:	Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 9th at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Beresford. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery. She died October 5, 2006 in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 81 years, three months and three days. Adell was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Brule Creek Lutheran Church. She married Milton Offerdahl on June 30, 1943. They farmed in the Beresford community; Adell was a homemaker, a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her door was always open, whether at her apartment or at Bethesda, and she enjoyed all her many friends. She loved to watch the Minnesota Twins. Preceding her in death was her husband, parents and two brothers, Darrell and Rodney. Adell is survived by her two daughters, Marlys (Duane) Clay of Beresford and Carol (Chuck) Garvin of LeMars, IA; six grandchildren, Stacey (Randy) Namminga, Stephanie (Ryan) James, Lindsay Clay, Ryan Clay, Jill Garvin and Amy Garvin; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Palmer (Ruth) Hanson of Cherokee, IA, Kenneth (Phyllis) Hanson of Maynard, AR and Robert (Shirley) Hanson of Alcester; and two sisters, Lois Jensen of Cambridge, MN and Evelyn Solberg of Alcester.
