Description	:	Adolph H. Rannfeldt, 51, of 1533 12th Ave So. died of a self-inflicted bullet wound at 2:15 pm Sunday in Mercy Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later pending the arrival of his son, Arthur, from Germany, and stepson LeRoy from Alaska. The body reposes in the Pape funeral home where friends may call beginning Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Rannfeldt was born Oct 12, 1895 in Center township, the son of Carl D. and Elsie Lehne Rannfeldt. He was married in Davenport to Miss Lillian Christiansen on May 4, 1921. She died Jan 7, 1940 and he married Mrs. Frieda Rannfeldt in Clinton, April 13, 1945. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of June Van Meter post 190, American Legion and Humphrey-Paulson post 2288, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors are his widow, five daughters, Mrs. Leon Keist, Lucille Rannfeldt and Mrs. Lester Pirch, all of Clinton. Arline, of Mason City, and Shirley of Amboy, IL., three other sons, Gerald, at home, Adolph Jr. of Blue Island, IL., and Wayne of Anamosa; five other stepchildren, Mrs. Paul George, of Clinton, Joan, Shirley, Ronald and Donald, all at home, four brothers, Henry and Charles, both of Clinton, and Albert and George, both of Charlotte; a sister, Mrs. Albert Mohr, Goose Lake, and one granddaughter, Geraldine Keist.
