Description	:	Adoline Telecky, 93, of David City, Nebraska, (formerly of Clarkson, Nebraska), died Saturday, January 18, 2020, at David Place in David City, Nebraska. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22 at 10:30 AM at New Zion Presbyterian Church in Clarkson with Pastor Stephen Niles officiating. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, rural Clarkson. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. Adoline Frances (Krula) Telecky was born at home in Sumner, Nebraska, on Aug. 22, 1926, to Kazimir and Anna (Johnson) Krula. She had two sisters; Gloria and Mary. At Age 10, her family moved from Sumner to a farm near Schuyler, Nebraska. Adoline graduated from Schuyler High School and went to Midland College in Fremont, Nebraska, for her basic teaching training. She taught at District 15 for about 5 years, and renewed her teaching interests when she had grandchildren creating homemade items and baking strudel, pies and horn rolls with them. Grandma loved and was so proud of her grandchildren. Riley and Adoline met at a dance at the Clarkson Ballroom, and were married on February 14, 1951 at the manse in Fremont. To their union came three children: Anita, Roberta, and Ron. Like many of that generation, she found ways to use most everything. Because she had a large garden, along with an orchard and grapes, she was always challenged on how to use and store the produce. She was a perfectionist in her homemaking, baking, canning and sewing. After raising their children, Adoline and Riley enjoyed square dancing and playing cards esp. darta and tarok. Adoline was a deeply faithful person. She joined the Presbyterian Church upon arriving at Schuyler. At the country Zion Presbyterian Church she taught Sunday school. Adoline was a member of the New Zion Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. In 2005 Adoline and Riley moved from the farm to David City and then moved to David Place Nursing Facility in 2016. After Riley's passing in 2016 she remained quite mobile and able to care for herself until the last few months. Adoline is survived by: Daughter – Anita (Robert) Vande Vorde of Grimes, IA Grandchildren – Tyler (Katie), Shawna (Justin) Bandy, and Matthew Daughter – Roberta (Gary) Holeka of Brainard, NE Grandchildren – Kelly (Dana) White, Nicholas, and Christopher (Hollie) Son – Ron (Sheryl) Telecky of Doniphan, NE Grandchildren – Brian (Megan), Cory, Lindsey, and Austin 12 Great Grandchildren Many nieces and nephews Adoline was preceded in derath by: Parents – Kazimir and Anna Krula Husband – Riley Telecky Sister – Mary Bell Sister – Gloria Odenreider
