Description	:	Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Friday, 1 June 1917 Cairo, Neb., June 1 - Adolph Frank Steinke died at his home three miles north of Cairo on May 30, 1917, of Bright's disease, the deceased being 58 years, 9 months and 30 days of age at the time of his demise. He was born in Germany on August 1, 1859, and came to America with his parents when 12 years of age, locating in New York state. Read More	Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Friday, 1 June 1917 Cairo, Neb., June 1 - Adolph Frank Steinke died at his home three miles north of Cairo on May 30, 1917, of Bright's disease, the deceased being 58 years, 9 months and 30 days of age at the time of his demise. He was born in Germany on August 1, 1859, and came to America with his parents when 12 years of age, locating in New York state. In 1881 he came to Lake Forrest, Ill., where he was united in marriage to Emma Bahr. To this union were born nine children, four sons and five daughters. One son and a daughter preceded him in death. In 1887, the family moved to Buffalo county, Neb., where they resided for five years, then moving into Hall county southwest of Cairo, where he lived until seven years ago, when he moved to his present home three miles north of town. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, three sons and four daughters and six grandchildren. Mr. Steinke was one of the enterprising farmers of this vicinity and had a large circle of friends who will regret to learn of his death. He has been ill for several years, and for several months has been confined to his bed. The funeral services will be held on Sunday in charge of Rev. E. Markley, of the Methodist church.
