Description	:	.G. "Fred" Bjorgan, 91, Kenmare, died Monday in a Kenmare hospital. His funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Faith Baptist Church, with burial in Lakeview Cemetery, both Kenmare. He was born July 18, 1900, in Madison, Minn., to Gunder and Anna Bjorgan. He was reared in that area and served in the National Guard before coming to Kenmare in 1923. He was born July 18, 1900, in Madison, Minn., to Gunder and Anna Bjorgan. He was reared in that area and served in the National Guard before coming to Kenmare in 1923. He worked on the Oscar Nordstrom farm. He married Florence Nelson Aug. 6, 1929, in Minot. They lived and farmed for a time northeast of Kenmare until moving to Kenmare where he worked at the area coal mines. He then began working at the Honey Boy Bakery in Kenmare, first wrapping bread and later becoming head baker. He then began working for Carl Oberg insulating homes and businesses in the Kenmare area, and later began his own carpentry and painting business. He retired in 1985 after 20 years in that business. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and the Kenmare Senior Citizens. He was a member of the Kenmare Commercial Club when he was in business. Survivors: wife; sons, Ken, Lewiston, N.Y., Bob, Kenmare; daughter, Linda Moreno, Mandan; six grandchildren; one great-grandson. Visitation will be today from 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon in Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Kenmare. From the scrapbook of Lillian Lundgren Zeltinger who passed away in 1997.
