Description	:	Adolphus Peter "Pete" Forsgren passed away at Palisade Living Center, February 22, 2015. He was born April 18, 1925 in Bothwell, Utah, to Leonidus Forsgren and Bessie Burden and grew up on the family farm in Corrine, Utah. He joined the United States Air Force in 1943, where he served as an airplane mechanic. He and Beth Petersen were married in Logan, Utah July 10, 1945. They have made their home in Whitewater, Colorado for 52 years where he was a farmer. Pete constantly remodeled their homes and barns, even building a new home for them. Mr. Forsgren is survived by his wife, Beth Forsgren, of Whitewater, CO; sons: Dennis Forsgren and Lamar Forsgren, both of Whitewater; daughters: Dawn Rae Sulley, of Commerce City, CO, and Amy Sue Webber, of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Clyde C. Forsgren, of Grand Junction; sisters: Vi Whitaker, of Hooper, UT, and Grace Nelson, of Brigham City, UT; 16 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers. A visitation will be held at Martin Mortuary on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 6 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2924 Hwy. 50, Grand Junction, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens with military honors.
