Description	:	Adriana (Ada) Francis Dean was born on June 26, 1919 in Eddyville, Iowa to Cornelia and John Wynberg. Ada graduated from Pella Christian Grade School in 1933 and Pella Christian High School in 1937. Ada completed nurses training at Christian Psychopathic Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1943. On May 7, 1948, Ada married John Arland Dean and on March 17, 1949, they welcomed son James Robert Dean. Read More	Adriana (Ada) Francis Dean was born on June 26, 1919 in Eddyville, Iowa to Cornelia and John Wynberg. Ada graduated from Pella Christian Grade School in 1933 and Pella Christian High School in 1937. Ada completed nurses training at Christian Psychopathic Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1943. On May 7, 1948, Ada married John Arland Dean and on March 17, 1949, they welcomed son James Robert Dean. Ada and John lived in many cities across the United States during which time John constructed water cooling towers. In 1962 Ada returned with her son to Pella, Iowa, worked in Des Moines, Iowa, at Younkers, and in 1968 became employed at Pella Rolscreen Company until her retirement in 1985. Ada volunteered her time to the Pella Historical Society in the village and windmill. She compiled family genealogy, enjoyed ceramics & lovingly cared for her three grandsons. Ada made confession of her Christian faith in the Christian Reformed Church, reaffirmed her faith in the Presbyterian Church in 1959 and was a longstanding member of the Presbyterian Church in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Ada is survived by her son James R. Dean (Marilyn)of Sioux Center, Iowa, grandsons: James Thomas (J.T.) Dean (Bronwen), Sioux Center; Ross Dean (Genevieve), Des Moines; Matthew (Katie) , Chicago; great-grandchildren :Skylar, James, Kellen, Brennen, Charlotta. Sioux Center; Jacqueline and Maya, Chicago, and many cousins, nieces, nephews. Ada was preceded in death by her parents: John & Cornelia Wynberg; her brothers: Henry and Hubert Wynberg; and her sisters: Cornelia (Cora) Bos and Evelina Stravers. Ada passed away March 15, 2015 at Royal Meadows Nursing Home in Sioux Center, Iowa where she was cared for with love by the staff and under Hospice since December.
